Review your remaining benefits
Your Ameritas member account shows your benefit summary, certificate of coverage, eligibility information, dental claims and remaining benefits. Use these details to check which services and visit frequencies your own policy allows.
No ID card? Check your member account
Ameritas does not issue ID cards for every plan. If your plan provides one, you can access it online or in the Ameritas Benefits app. If you do not have a card, your member ID can help the office locate your coverage. Your account also lets you review claim explanations; an Explanation of Benefits is not a bill.
Compare estimates before treatment
Ameritas offers information on average dental charges, and members can sign in for in-network cost information. For planned treatment, ask about a pretreatment estimate based on your benefits. Check the network directory and confirm the treating dentist and office location before relying on a network estimate.
